From 26 to 28 November 2025, Barcelona will become the meeting point for those building the future of travel tech. Decode Travel , the hackathon where developers and industry-leading companies come together to create real solutions, returns to TeamLabs BCN with three days dedicated to innovation, creativity, and the development of projects that could become the next major disruption in the industry.

This year, companies such as Vueling, Future Travel, Barcelona Travel Hub, nubem systems and Clorian Ticketing are joining forces to launch open challenges that foster new perspectives, collaboration, talent and—yes—a bit of healthy competition.

And from Clorian, we’re bringing a challenge that addresses one of the sector’s biggest concerns: security, transparency, and the fight against ticketing fraud.

Our challenge: building the anti-fraud system the ticketing industry has needed for years

Ticketing fraud continues to grow: bulk purchases by resellers, fake identities bypassing purchase limits, B2B partners exploiting B2C inventory, opaque secondary markets that harm both users and organizers…

This is why we are launching the Decode Hackathon Challenge: Anti-Fraud Ticketing System on Camino Network , a challenge designed to build a completely new, secure system adapted to today’s market needs:

  • Detect and block fraudulent purchases before they happen.
  • Ensure every ticket has a legitimate owner through multi-channel identity verification.
  • Build an NFT ticketing system enabling clear, limited, safe and fair resale.
  • Implement smart contracts to manage price caps and automatic commission distribution.
  • Add, if the team chooses, an official buyback mechanism for organizers.
  • And, as a bonus, integrate Camino Messenger for encrypted off-chain communication that simplifies the user experience.

The goal: a transparent, secure and user-friendly ecosystem, from purchase to access control, covering the entire ticket lifecycle.

Why this challenge fits perfectly with the Decode Travel spirit

Clorian’s proposal aligns directly with the pillars that make this hackathon unique:

  • A playground for innovation
An open canvas for limitless creation. Blockchain, digital identity, smart contracts… the perfect playground for those wanting to build solutions applicable to real-world scenarios.
  • Visibility among the industry’s leading companies
Your solution will be seen by top companies in the travel ecosystem.
Talent + real challenge = professional opportunities.
  • Teamwork and new perspectives
Diverse profiles, cross-pollinated ideas and an environment where collaboration is key.
Solutions that an internal team might never have imagined.
  • Immediate impact and real-world solutions
In just three days, prototypes that can make a difference in the ticketing industry and consumer protection may emerge.
  • Learning opportunities
Web3 technologies, real integrations, anti-fraud system design, hands-on experience with Camino Network, and the possibility of working with standards from the travel industry.

How we will evaluate the proposals

Solutions will be assessed based on their real-world applicability, degree of innovation, technical quality, user experience, fraud prevention effectiveness and their ability to scale in real environments.
We will look for projects that not only work as demos but make sense in real markets and can grow sustainably as needs evolve.
