A new museum has opened in Valencia and Clorian stands as the trusted platform for the management and the ticket sales to visit this unique space. The Hortensia Herrero Art Center is located in the former Valeriola Palace, a cultural jewel dating back to the 17th century. In its 17 galleries, the art center exhibits Hortensia Herrero’s private collection of more than 50 artists, including renowned artists such as Jaume Plensa, Eduardo Chillida or Miquel Barceló, forming a showcase with more than 100 works.

After several years of disuse, the Hortensia Herrero Foundation restored this architectural jewel to give it a new life as an art center and make one of Hortensia Herrero’s main objectives a reality: to gather together the most famous artists internationally to her hometown, Valencia. Her philanthropic work has allowed the promotion of cultural activities and projects in the city with the aim of increasing the sensitivity for contemporary art in the society of the Comunidad Valenciana. 

The Hortensia Herrero Foundation

The Hortensia Herrero Foundation was founded in 2012 out of an interest in promoting knowledge and awareness of art and culture in the Comunidad Valenciana. Among its various projects, the Foundation works to recover the artistic heritage of Valencia to make it a national reference. The rehabilitation of the Valeriola Palace is one of the concrete examples of its achievements.
