Clorian and castles of legend: “Benvidos a Pontevedra”
Clorian, the leading ticketing platform, will manage the entire ticketing cycle of two historic castles in the province of Pontevedra. These are the castle of Sobroso, located in Vilasobroso, and the castle of Soutomaior, located in O Rial, both in Galicia.
Although Galicia is not a region characterised by its fortresses, it is home to two imposing medieval castles. Both are set in paradisiacal surroundings and evoke times of war, power, battles between noble families and popular revolts against the feudal lords of the Middle Ages.
Castles with new technologies
The Castles of Soutomaior and Sobroso have modern museums which, through audiovisual images, 3D or videomapping, show the past influence and characters linked to the fortresses. In addition, Soutomaior has added one of its tourist attractions as the imposing camellia garden, a traditional flower of the area that became the first International Garden of Excellence by the International Camellia Society.

Clorian manages the entire ticket sales cycle of the Castell de Soutomaior and the Castell de Sobroso. For this, Clorian has elaborated a purchase process according to the corporate image of the websites of both monuments and of the Diputació de Pontevedra. Although both are managed by the Diputació de Pontevedra, the Castell de Soutomaior has more sales products, as it offers different types of visits, such as self-guided visits, guided visits, as well as visits to the gardens. For its part, the Castle of Sobroso offers an entrance with free visit that opens the door to the different areas of this historic site.
Furthermore, one of the most important aspects implemented with Clorian is the division of the visits by bands, a method that not only helps to reduce the number of visits to 0, but also improves the visitors’ experience.

Price: 6,50 €
*Large family, youth card and over 65 (3,25€)

Time: 12:30 h o 16:30 h
Guided tour of the castle and gardens:
Price: 7,50 €
*3,75€ for families, young people’s card and over 65s.
*Free admission for children under 18, people with disabilities and the unemployed.
Time: 11h, 17h o 17:30h.
