Explore Roman Tarraco with Clorian
Clorian has added the Tarragona History Museum to an institution that encompasses all the archaeological remains that can be seen throughout the city of Tarragona. The arrival of Clorian aims to improve capacity management and prevent overcrowding during peak periods, guaranteeing a more comfortable and organised visit experience for everyone.
In this way, the Clorian platform will make it possible to better regulate access to the venues by implementing a pre-booking system. Now, when purchasing a ticket, visitors will have to select both the day and the time of their visit, which will allow a better control of the flow of people to minimise possible waits.
One ticket, 5 spaces
A visit to the Tarragona History Museum opens the door to explore the spaces that have been preserved from the Roman Empire, when Tarraco was one of the main cities. The spaces that form part of the joint visit are its walls, the Roman circus, the forum of the colony and, the jewel in the crown, the amphitheatre where gladiatorial fights were held, with animals and exhibitions.
In addition to these archaeological sites, the entrance ticket also gives you access to the Casa Canals, a historic building that once belonged to the nobility.
Visit the Roman Tarragona with Clorian
Clorian has become the official ticket sales platform for the Tarragona History Museum and, therefore, for the different archaeological remains to be found in the city. Visitors can choose between buying individual tickets for the spaces they wish to explore or purchasing a joint ticket that provides access to the five main sites.
As noted above, the arrival of Clorian aims to solve a problem of crowding that all of these sites had at certain times of the day and year. Now, users will have to book entry for a specific day and time in order to avoid long waits. In the case of the joint ticket, the platform suggests recommended times for the different spaces, but allows users to select the time that best suits their schedule.
In addition to individual tickets, there is also the option of buying tickets for groups of between 20 and 35, with half price tickets. Schools, one of the most popular visitor flows to the site, can also purchase tickets.
